We had a great time at Yappy Hour welcoming dozens of dogs and their people to The Maxwell Hotel. Thanks to Hot Dogs in the Park for providing delicious treats for the people and to Dorothy Moore of The Dining Dog, who served our four-legged friends her gourmet, hand-crafted cookies and scones.
The people got some sweets, too…thanks to Sweet Teeth of Renton for creating a delicious cake with a yummy dog on it…Sweet Teeth also created cute dog-themed cupcakes, which again, were as delicious as they were attractive! Check out the photos on their site!
Together, we raised funds to support the Seattle Humane Society of King County and cultivated a few new friendships while doing it!

As a result of this event, we have a confirmed successful dog-adoption….however in this case, it was more the dog adopting the new people. Please meet Hank. Hank has decided to live with Charley – a black lab who has been looking forward to a little brother for quite some time. Welcome Hank!
